Job Description

Operational Responsibilities:

i) Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail to ensure smooth running of activities and information in the institution

(ii) Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence to ensure safe keeping and retrieval of the NPSC’s documents

(iii) Assist in keeping the reception lobby clean and tidy at all times for a professional image of the Office of the Auditor General

(iv) Maintain vigilance of any security threats and report any security issues to the line manager in the Office of the Auditor General to ensure security is enforced in the institution

(v) Ensure customer enquiries are escalated to the appropriate staff and reverted to the customer within the agreed turnaround time

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:

(i) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education D+

(ii) Computer skills

(iii) Communication skills

(iv) Interpersonal skills

(v) Organizational skills

(vi) Ability to work under pressure

(vii) Ability to work well with team

(viii) Problem solving skills

(ix) Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya

(x) Two(2) years of service, or similar experience in a comparable position from a reputable organization
