Job Description

Operational Responsibilities

(i) Maintain a clean, friendly environment and orderly at the records offices in line with the standards in records management

(ii) Provide technical support for all sections to ensure seamless operation of the records management division

(iii) Ensure monthly and quarterly monitoring and evaluation are prepared and submitted to the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation department

(iv) Coordinate dispatch and receipts of the institutions mails to ensure proper classification of documents

(v) Verify documents to ensure efficient and effective population of vetting records for use by panelist

(vi) Ensure security of records center and information materials to ensure proper maintenance of property

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:

(i) Diploma in Records Management/Information Science/ Library Science

(ii) Certificate in Records Management/Information Science/ Library Science.

(iii) Computer Literacy

(iv) Knowledge of Professional standards

(v) Communication skills

(vi) Interpersonal skills

(vii) Organizational skills

(viii) Ability to work under pressure

(ix) Ability to work well with teams

(x) Problem solving skills

(xi) Supervisory skills

(xii) Meet the requirements of chapter Six of the constitution of Kenya

(xiii) Two(2)years of service in a comparable position from a reputable organization
