Job Description

Operational Responsibilities:

(i) Ensure the general cleanliness of the commission office.

(ii) Open and Close offices.

(iii) Receive newspapers and distribute the newspapers to the respective officers.

(iv) Organize meeting rooms and Boardroom.

(v) Photocopy, bind and shred of confidential reports.

(vi) Report any maintenance/ faults services.

(vii) Collect and dispatch of mails to the post office.

(viii) Receive and direct visitors to various offices.

(ix) Establish and maintain movement of files in offices.

(x) Supervise any movements of office furniture and arranging them.

(xi) Ensure security of office equipment, documents, machines and records of the same

(xii) Ensure kitchen utensils are well cleaned kept in order.

(xiii) Manage the movements of files and mails in offices

(xiv) Arrange files in meeting rooms and after meetings.

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:

(i) Kenya Certificate for Secondary Education D,( plain)

(ii) Certificate in any of the following, Customer care, Housekeeping techniques and first aid techniques not lasting less than 30 days.

(iii) Computer literacy.

(iv) Customer care and public Relations skills

(v) First Aid Techniques

(vi) Communication skills

(vii) Interpersonal skills

(viii) Organizational skills

(ix) Ability to work under pressure

(x) Ability to work well with teams

(xi) Problem solving skills

(xii) Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya

(xiii) One(1)year of service in a comparable position from a reputable organization
